What's on your Bucket List?
One of the nice things about a new year is that it’s a chance to think ahead – even with COVID – and consider the things you would like to do in the year or in life. COVID has made a lot of people re-think their lives and how they want to live and what they want to do with life.
Write what you want to do down - it will help you plan to make sure it happens!
Many people come up with a bucket list, a list of things they want to do whilst they are able and can. If you’ve got a list of things you want to do like this, it’s worth writing your bucket list down so that you can remember what you've put on it and look for ways to make your bucket list happen!
This means that you can either treat yourself, or, if someone asks you what you want for your birthday, you can give them some ideas. It makes life a lot easier for the person buying you a present! It means they know they are giving you something you would like and it can save them time trying to work out what to get you!
What would it be like to feed a big cat?
Virgin Experience Days want to help people have a great 2022 and they've come up with lots of ideas on their Ultimate Bucket List with experiences on it such as a Gin Afternoon Tea for Two at the Gherkin in London, or a Deluxe Visit to The View from The Shard with Champagne, Photos and Guidebook for Two also in London, or a Stargazing Experience for Two with Dark Sky in Wales.
How adventurous do you want to be?
If you’re more adventurous, there’s a sky dive experience, abseiling down the i360 in Brighton, a Cosy Two Night Hobbit Hut Escape with Outdoor Spa Use and Champagne for Two at Oak Lodge Retreat or the chance to meet big cats in Kent. Virgin Experience Days have a lot of experiences on their website, divided neatly into categories which make it easier for you to find things which interest you
But you can choose your bucket list depending on what you want to be on it – does adventure call, do you want a great escape to get away from it all, or to learn new skills and try your hand at something you’ve not done before? Maybe you want to really spoil yourself and a loved one and dine out at a special and unusual venue such as on a steam train, or treat yourself to Afternoon Tea at the Ritz or stay in a castle.
There are things you can do whatever is happening with Covid too - Stay at Home experiences – such as designing your own perfume, making your own soap, making your own natural products, making a wreath, making your own cocktail – it can just be fun to do this and it’s certainly different to what many of us would normally do in our free time! There are a couple of grow your own experiences, too
