On this 2-hour beekeeping experience, you'll cover the basics of beekeeping and see the hive and honey bees at work.  You'll get kitted out in a full beekeeping suit and see a hive both inside and out, and find out about the different bees and their roles. You'll have the chance to handle frames of bees and carry out inspections with the head bee-keeper! Search out the Queen and check how much honey and pollen has been stored. Try some honey, too!

The National Trust has some wonderful places in its care for you to explore, such as the garden at Blickling.  The great thing about a National Trust membership is that there are over 500 places you can explore (not just gardens) which gives you lots of choice.  Member handbooks help you plan where you're going to explore next.  And if you're travelling around, a visit to a National Trust property is a lovely change from a motorway station!
